Welcome Change

Welcome everyone to my new blog.  My purpose for this blog is to keep those who want to know or support me updated on my progress, my goals and any changes. 
 There are so many people in this world who will tell each other "you can't do that" and give them some dumb reason.  In fact people have said "you can't get buff, you're fat." Well, I don't listen to those negative people anymore.  I've got to come up with a better name for my goal than "getting buff" but for now it will suffice.  I know that achieving my goal is going to be hard, and it is going to be a long road to where I want to be but it IS possible.  
  I've begun my journey to a better body by eating healthy, and going to the gym.  I currently feel that I'm not pushing myself to my full potential and I am planning on changing that.  As I learn how to use this blog I will post pictures, I am not ashamed of how I look, I am choosing to change because I want to. I am NOT, I repeat NOT doing this to fit into a social standard, I am doing this for me.  I choose to share because the support from those reading will help me with motivation, which has always been my downfall.  Eating healthier hasn't been the worst part.  I think maybe I'm not eating enough protein yet, but I will be doing things to change that.  I actually have been enjoying the healthy eating, the workouts and the way it makes me feel.  I've cut back on soda, though I haven't completely quit, and I'm drinking a ridiculous amount of water every day. It is a long road to where I want to be, but I will get there, and I hope that through my strengths, weaknesses, struggles and triumphs that one day someone who needs to see what I have accomplished, and I hope it aids them in their goals.  Special shot out to my buddy Len for keeping me motivated, and Gabby for motivation and advice.  Goodnight everyone and thanks for reading.
